Russia Has No Desire to Avenge Anyone, Lavrov Says
Russia does not wish to take revenge on anyone and does not turn away its former Western partners. This was stated by Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
“We have no desire to take revenge on anyone, nor do we aspire to vent our anger on someone. In general, we believe that anger is a bad advisor, and the desire for revenge also serves as a poor counselor,” he noted.
According to the minister, if the former Western partners come to their senses and wish to return to work with Russia, they will not be turned away. However, authorities will take into account that the last time they left was “by the order of the political leadership.”
