Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to Visit Armenia Next Week

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev will visit Armenia next week to attend the intergovernmental council meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union. This was announced today by Sergei Kopirkin, the Russian Ambassador to Armenia, during a press briefing.

“Our peoples and our governments fully recognize that fraternal and allied relations entirely correspond to the interests of our peoples,” the Russian ambassador stated.

In turn, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin would also visit Armenia this year, although specific dates have not been mentioned.
