India's Foreign Ministry Clarifies: Armenia and Azerbaijan's Accession to SCO Not Discussed Due to Time Constraints
The issue of Armenia and Azerbaijan's accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) has not been discussed due to time constraints. This was stated by officials from India's Ministry of External Affairs.
Commenting on reports of India blocking Azerbaijan's accession to the SCO, official spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal assured that the matter continues to be under discussion within the organization.
Recently, India blocked Azerbaijan's accession to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, after which Azerbaijani media reported that Pakistan had blocked Armenia's application to join the SCO in response to India's decision regarding Azerbaijan.
