Today more than ever, we realize the value of our independence and sovereignty: Alen Simonyan

Dear compatriots, on August 23, 1990, the Supreme Council of the Armenian SSR adopted the Declaration of Independence of Armenia. On that day, the Armenian people reaffirmed their right to live freely and independently determine their destiny.

The path to independence has not been easy. However, recent events have opened new historical opportunities for our state, further strengthening the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia.

Today, we, more than ever, realize the value of our independence and sovereignty. It is peace that strengthens our independence, allowing us to develop our country and ensure a dignified life for our citizens. Now we are not only independent, but also peaceful, of course, thanks to the wise decisions of our people.

Dear compatriots, I congratulate you on the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia. May our independence and peace be eternal, ensuring a prosperous and secure life for our citizens.
