Investigation Concludes for 18 Leaders and Participants of 'Holy Struggle' Movement
The investigation of the criminal case involving 18 leaders and participants of the movement known as 'Holy Struggle' has been concluded in the Main Department for the Investigation of Crimes Against the State, Constitutional Order, and Public Safety of the Investigative Committee of Armenia.
This information was reported by the Investigative Committee. For 17 individuals, pre-trial detention has been applied as a measure of restraint, while administrative supervision and a prohibition on leaving have been imposed on one individual.
The criminal case concerning these 18 individuals has been forwarded to the supervising prosecutor with a motion to confirm it and submit it to the court for substantive examination.
It is noteworthy that during the preliminary investigation of the criminal case, public criminal proceedings were initiated against 18 individuals from the movement under Part 1 of Article 308 (preparation for terrorism) and Part 1 of Article 419 (preparation for seizing power) of the Criminal Code.
