We Will Start Fining Potential Non-Payers: Avinyan
The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Suren Grigoryan, during a procedural meeting, addressed the issue of fining those who do not pay for transportation, stating that the preparatory work related to conducting inspections is nearly complete.
“A change has been made to the decision dated April 10, 2024, which envisages the delegation of powers for appropriate control in transportation to the Public Order Protection Service. Regarding the overall process, the preparatory work is nearly finished, and training will be conducted with our colleagues from the Public Order Service concerning the inspections,” said the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan.
Tigran Avinyan also added, “In other words, we will begin retraining this week and will actually start fining potential violators.”
