Turkey and Azerbaijan Sign New Memorandum

The defense ministers of Turkey and Azerbaijan, Yaşar Güler and Zakir Hasanov, met in Istanbul. During the meeting, they discussed the current state of cooperation in military, military-technical, and military-educational fields between the two countries, as well as future development prospects.

The parties exchanged detailed views on regional security and several other issues of mutual interest. At the end of the meeting, a memorandum titled 'Memorandum of Understanding on Mutual Strengthening of Military Security' was signed.
