Pashinyan on Constitutional Amendments
If the Constitutional Court determines that the peace agreement does not comply with our Constitution, I will initiate constitutional amendments. This statement was made by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during the second international forum "Yerevan Dialogue."
“The peace process and the peace agreement should not be overlooked,” he said.
Pashinyan noted that the public will be convinced that such amendments should be made for Armenia to achieve lasting peace.
“However, if the Constitutional Court decides that the agreement fully complies with the Republic of Armenia's Constitution, then, in that case, there will be no obstacle to sending the document to the National Assembly,” the Prime Minister noted.
