Armen Grigoryan on the Zangezur Corridor
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated at the International Dialogue Conference held in Tehran that there is no discussion regarding the project known as the "Zangezur Corridor." Grigoryan's remarks were quoted by the Iranian news agency Irna, which reported that Armenia has never used the term "corridor," and such phrasing is not on the agenda of discussions.
“To be honest, there is no discussion about any corridor; we do not even use such a term,” Grigoryan stated. “But we are talking about how we can open regional communications, bring peace and stability to the region, and contribute to development.”
He also addressed the concept of the “Peace Crossroad,” presenting it as a program for the development of economic infrastructure.
