Zelensky: He Fears Direct Negotiations with Me
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin is afraid of engaging in direct negotiations with him.
Zelensky reminded that on March 11, Ukraine fully backed the proposal from the United States during a meeting held in Saudi Arabia, regarding a complete unconditional ceasefire, as Ukraine aims to put an end to the war.
“I have said this multiple times to President Trump. I believe that Putin does not want the war to end, does not want a ceasefire, does not want negotiations. I even think he fears direct negotiations with me,” Zelensky emphasized.
As the President noted, this proposal has been in effect on the negotiating platform for 63 days.
