Who Was One of Putin's Notable Guests During the Victory Parade
Russian President Vladimir Putin's schoolteacher Vera Gurevich was among the guests at the Victory Day parade in Moscow's Red Square. This was reported by a correspondent from RIA Novosti.
Gurevich was Putin's teacher from 5th to 8th grade at School No. 193 in Leningrad and is now 91 years old. She is the author of memoirs about the president's school years, titled "Vladimir Putin: Parents, Friends, Teachers."
A parade dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in Moscow. Leaders and high-ranking representatives from foreign states, veterans, and honored guests gathered in the stands of Red Square.
