Hakob Arshakyan on Pashinyan's Trip to Moscow
"I do not make the decision regarding Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's trip to Moscow or not. What I can say is that the war and the victory in the war belong equally to the Armenians and to Armenia," stated Hakob Arshakyan, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, during a conversation with journalists today, May 7, addressing the question of whether he believes it is right for Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to be in Moscow on May 9 and participate in the parade.
“This is, of course, not subject to discussion. According to official data, we have lost 300,000 victims and many heroes. We fought against fascism alongside all other peoples. Therefore, if you want to hear any other assessment from me, I have no other assessment. This is equally our victory and our holiday,” he said.
