Is it necessary to steal one person for a regime change? Says Alen Simonyan
ARJ President Alen Simonyan does not understand what is meant when it is said that the ruling party wants to steal a member of Martun Grigoryan's faction in Gyumri. "Is it necessary to steal that one person for a regime change? Seriously?" he said during a conversation with reporters.
According to Simonyan, no one is stealing anyone; the ruling party has no connection with that individual. "Moreover, we do not even have the desire to have any connection; the Gyumri resident has made his choice, and we leave the Gyumri resident with his choice. We stand firm with our votes, after all, we took the first place," he noted.
It is worth mentioning that lawyer Sos Hakobyan has stated that there was influence from governmental circles on the will of Karen Badalyan, a member of the Gyumri City Council's 'Our City' faction.
