Residents of Kasakh and Proshyan Communities Block Road
This morning, on April 22, residents of the Proshyan and Kasakh communities in the Kotayk region have blocked the main road leading to Yerevan. They are demanding that bus routes 25 and 59 reach their villages of Proshyan and Kasakh.
It should be noted that the last time residents of these communities blocked the road was on April 10. At that time, after a meeting with high-ranking government officials, the protesters managed to secure that route 25 would extend to the former Ministry of Defense building, from where it would return to Yerevan, while route 59 would be removed.
