Armenian National Team Celebrates Second Consecutive Victory

The Armenian ice hockey national team played its second match at the World Championship IV Division held in Yerevan, competing against one of the tournament favorites, the Uzbekistan national team.

The main time of the match ended in a 2-2 draw. In overtime, no goals were scored, and the outcome of the match was decided in the post-game shootout, where the Armenian team triumphed with a score of 2-0.

Following this victory, the Armenian national team leads the standings of the IV Division World Championship with 6 points. In the first round, the Armenian ice hockey team had a stunning victory over Malaysia, defeating them 24-3, marking the largest winning margin in its history.

This is the first time in 15 years that the Armenian ice hockey national team is participating on the international stage.
