Clashes Between Protesters and Police
Clashes occurred between residents of Proshyan and Kasakh communities, who were staging a protest and blocking the Yerevan-Ararat highway, and police, as officers attempted to forcibly remove citizens from the roadway.
It is worth noting that residents of Proshyan and Kasakh villages once again blocked the Yerevan-Ararat highway this morning, April 8. The reason behind this protest is the authorities' decision to remove buses serving routes 25 and 59, replacing them with more expensive alternatives while also reducing the frequency of the service.
