Production Activity of Poultry Meat Factory Suspended

Inspectors from the Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia conducted an inspection at the poultry meat production facility belonging to Araks Poultry Farm (located in Jrarbi, Ararat Province), where samples were taken from the available product types and sent for laboratory analysis. This information was reported by the Food Safety Inspection Body.

According to the results of the examination, a sample of the "frozen chicken meat" product type was found to contain "pathogenic Salmonella," and a sample of the "chilled chicken meat" product type did not meet the established requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union regulations due to "technologically added moisture mass" indicators.

By the decision of the head of the Food Safety Inspection Body, the production activity of the poultry meat facility has been suspended, and a deadline has been set for rectifying the violations.
