Oman Agrees with Iran's Stance, President Says

Oman agrees with Iran's position on the management of the Strait of Hormuz, stated Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. He noted that Oman shares Tehran's viewpoint on the necessity of managing the strait based on the memorandum of understanding with Islamabad.

Pezeshkian emphasized that previous agreements have been disrupted due to non-fulfillment of the framework conditions of those agreements. The president highlighted that the Islamic Republic is ready to resume full navigation in the Strait of Hormuz according to its national policy if the United States fulfills its obligations.
