What Weather Is Expected in the First Week of September
According to Levon Azizyan, director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, the air temperature in our region is expected to be 1-3 degrees lower than normal during the first week of September.
The forecasts are based on the medium-term predictions from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF).
Heavy rains are expected in various regions of Armenia today and in the coming four days, with the possibility of hail. The Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Centre provides this information.
During thunderstorms, wind gusts are expected to strengthen to 20-25 m/s.
The air temperature is gradually expected to decrease by 7-9 degrees during the daytime until August 31. In Yerevan, brief rain and thunderstorms are also forecasted for tonight and later this afternoon.
During thunderstorms, wind gusts are expected to reach 18-23 m/s.
In the capital, daytime air temperatures will range from +29 to +31 degrees, while at night, temperatures will be between +17 and +19 degrees.
