Kremlin Reveals Details of Pashinyan-Putin Phone Conversation
The Kremlin has shared details of a phone conversation between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The call took place at the initiative of the Armenian side. Nikol Pashinyan informed that the agreement on the text of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been finalized and that Yerevan is ready to sign this important document.
Vladimir Putin emphasized that Russia has always advocated for the resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, aiming to ensure security, stability, and socio-economic sustainable development in the South Caucasus region. Both Armenia and Azerbaijan can always count on any possible support from the Russian side in achieving these goals.
They also discussed certain issues related to the further development of Russian-Armenian mutually beneficial ties. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia confirmed his acceptance of the invitation from the Russian President and will participate in the celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, which will take place in Moscow on May 9.
