Armenian Gymnasts Will Not Participate in the Second Round of the World Cup
Armenian gymnasts will not participate in the second round of the World Cup, which will be held in Azerbaijan. This was reported by the Armenian Gymnastics Federation.
The first round of the World Cup will take place from February 18 to 24 in Cottbus, Germany, where Hamlet Manukyan and Mamikon Khachatryan will make their debuts in the senior category. Arthur Davtyan, Vahagn Davtyan, and Arthur Avetisyan will also participate in the World Cup.
The announcement states: “The second round of the World Cup will take place in Baku, and our team will not participate in it.”
It is noteworthy that Arthur Davtyan won a silver medal at the 2024 Olympic Games, while Vahagn Davtyan placed sixth in the Olympic Games.
