Trump's Promise Will Be Kept: White House
U.S. President Donald Trump has not abandoned his intention to impose additional tariffs on goods from Mexico, Canada, and China starting February 1, announced White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt.
“Tomorrow, February 1, is the deadline that President Trump previously announced. Tomorrow he will impose a 25 percent tariff on Mexico and Canada, and a 10 percent tariff on China,” Leavitt said during a press briefing.
According to her, “The promise has been made and will be kept.”
