Second Black Box of Downed Azerbaijani Aircraft Found
The second black box of the Azerbaijani Embraer 190 aircraft has been discovered at the crash site near Aktau. This was announced during a press briefing by Abilaybek Ordabaev, the transport prosecutor of the Mangystau region, as reported by the Informburo.kz portal.
“Two flight data recorders have been found at the site,” he stated.
The prosecutor added that investigative authorities are questioning the victims, ground service personnel, and are also identifying witnesses to the disaster. Investigators have already seized the recordings of radio communications.
“The inspection of the crash site, covering about 4,000 square kilometers, is nearly complete. The security of the area, all objects, and material evidence is ensured,” Ordabaev clarified.
