Mass Deportations from the US: Migrants Sent to Foreign Countries
The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has deported nearly 100 migrants to African countries in recent days, sending them outside their home countries. This information was reported by CBS, citing government documents.
It was noted that migrants from Afghanistan, Iran, Turkey, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba have been transported via three flights to Burundi, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, Rwanda, Eswatini, and Sierra Leone.
The Department of Homeland Security has informed the site that if a detainee refuses to return to their home country, authorities must find another safe country willing to accept them.
