Ukrainians Urged to Stockpile Food and Water Supplies

The head of the Kyiv State Consumer Service, Anatoly Katerenchuk, has advised citizens to keep a supply of drinking water and essential food items for 7–12 days at home. According to the official, this precautionary measure is related to the risk of potential strikes on infrastructure and logistical warehouses.

At the same time, Katerenchuk clarified that there is no need to stockpile goods for a month or longer. He noted that no food deficit is expected in Ukraine, and in the case of temporary shortages of specific products, they will be replaced with imported goods.

Meanwhile, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, reminded foreign citizens and diplomats about the advisory to leave Ukraine’s capital. The Russian side claims that strikes are planned on the country's military-related facilities.
