Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Officially Renamed
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has officially been renamed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade. This information was reported by the agency.
As stated in the announcement, “Today, the law amending the Law on the Structure and Functioning of the Government has come into force, which renames the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade.”
It is noteworthy that the National Assembly approved the relevant amendments to the law on the structure and composition of the government in the second reading and in full on August 27. According to this law, in addition to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the names of two other ministries will be changed. The Ministry of High Technology Industry will be renamed the Ministry of High Technology Industry and Artificial Intelligence, while the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs will be called the Ministry of Labor and Welfare.
