Putin Asks Pezeshkian to Convey Greetings to Khamenei During Meeting in Bishkek

During a meeting held in Bishkek, Russian President Vladimir Putin asked Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian to convey his greetings to Iran's spiritual leader, Ayatollah Seyid Mojtaba Khamenei.

The President of Russia stated that the Russian people stand in solidarity with the Iranian people in defending their own interests, emphasizing that bilateral relations are consistently developing in all directions.

According to Putin, despite the military and political difficulties, Moscow and Tehran have managed to maintain the growth rates of trade and economic ties achieved last year, and humanitarian cooperation has been highlighted as significant.

Referring to international issues, the Russian leader noted that Moscow welcomed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, but unfortunately expressed regret that the established ceasefire has been very fragile.
