Bodies of 7 More Victims Found: How Many Have Died in the Azerbaijan Airline Crash
Seven more bodies of victims from the plane crash near Aktau have been identified. The remains of 38 deceased individuals have been transferred to the forensic medical center. Among them are 6 citizens of Kazakhstan and 3 crew members, as reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
Experts are also working with the 'black box', which was found at the scene of the tragedy.
Recall that on December 25, an Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 aircraft, performing a flight from Baku to Grozny, crashed and caught fire near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan. There were 62 passengers and 5 crew members on board. According to the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, 32 people survived.
