Chains Recommended for Use: Road Conditions Update
In the Martuni region, snow is falling, and there are blizzard conditions from the Sevan Peninsula to the beginning of the Dilijan Tunnel. This has been reported by the Road Department.
It is noted that as of 09:00, there are patches of black ice from the Sevan Peninsula to the start of the Dilijan Tunnel.
"Drivers of vehicles with trailers are advised to use chains for travel through the Vardenyats Pass," the message states.
All interstate and national roads are open. Road construction workers are carrying out cleaning and treatment operations with salt and sand on the roads.
