Duda on Increasing the Number of EU Mission Representatives in Armenia
The President of Poland has stated that prior to his arrival in Armenia, he had a phone conversation with President Aliyev. “Two weeks ago, I had a private conversation with the President of Azerbaijan, and we also discussed issues regarding relations with Armenia,” he said.
The president also spoke about the role of the EU observation mission, noting that their task is very challenging, as they are trying to establish control over the approximately 1,000-kilometer-long Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
“We are participating in this mission and are considering increasing the number of our representatives in this mission,” Andrzej Duda stated.
