Putin Personally Oversees Issues Related to Ukrainian Conflict, Peskov Says
Russian President Vladimir Putin personally oversees decision-making related to the Ukrainian conflict, and the Kremlin does not plan to establish a separate position for this purpose. This was announced by the president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov, as reported by RIA Novosti.
“A special military operation is underway, Putin is the supreme commander, and he personally controls this direction. We do not have any special envoys,” he told reporters in response to a relevant question about whether the Kremlin intends to establish a special envoy position for negotiations concerning the Ukrainian conflict.
