What Weather to Expect in the Coming Days
In the territory of the Republic of Armenia, clear weather without precipitation is expected during the day on August 31 and from September 1 to 4. This information is provided by the Hydrometeorological and Monitoring Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
The wind will be southeastern at a speed of 2-5 m/s, with gusts expected to reach 17-20 m/s during thunderstorms. In Armavir, as well as in the foothills of Kotayk and Aragatsotn, wind gusts of 14-18 m/s are expected on the evenings of August 31 and September 1-2.
Temperatures will gradually rise by 2-4 degrees from September 2-3.
In Yerevan, no precipitation is anticipated on August 31 and from September 1 to 4. During the evenings of August 31, and September 1-2, wind gusts of 14-16 m/s are also expected.
The authorities warn that high fire hazard situations are anticipated in the regions of Shirak, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor foothills, the Ararat Plain, and the Syunik valleys in the upcoming 5 days.
