Heavy Rain and Hail Expected on August 10-11; Temperature to Decrease

In Yerevan, from the night and evening hours of August 10-12, as well as on the evening of the 14th, brief rain and thunderstorms are expected, during which winds may strengthen up to 18-23 m/s. No precipitation is forecasted for August 13 in the capital.

At the same time, on the evenings of August 9-14, wind gusts of 15-18 m/s are anticipated.

Throughout the republic, on the nights and afternoons of August 10-12 and the 14th, as well as on the evening of the 13th, brief rains and thunderstorms are expected in most regions. On the 10th and 11th, in certain areas, the rainfall will be heavy, and hail is also possible. There will be no precipitation expected during the night hours of August 13.

The wind will be blowing from the northeast and east at a speed of 4-7 m/s, with possible intensifications during thunderstorms reaching 20-25 m/s.

From August 10-14 during the evening hours, inArmavir, the foothills of Aragatsotn and Kotayk, as well as in some areas of Shirak, wind activity is forecasted with speeds of 17-20 m/s.

The air temperature during daytime on August 10-11 will decrease by 3-5 degrees.
