Parents Receive Calls from Someone Posing as School Staff: Education Ministry Warns
To the parents of first graders,
Dear parents of first graders, the National Center for Educational Technologies of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia has received reports that unknown individuals are calling parents, presenting themselves as school staff, and advising them to cancel submitted applications, claiming that the student’s application is not visible in the system. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science.
To avoid falling victim to this deception, we urge you not to cancel your child's application under any circumstances, as doing so could allow other parents to submit applications for the available spots. We would like to inform you that the electronic system for first graders' registration at hayt.emis.am is operating normally; there are no technical or other issues, and all registered children's data is clearly visible.
At the same time, we remind parents that they must submit the documents of children accepted into the first grade to the school by September 5 inclusive.
