Armenian Nuclear Power Plant Connected to Electricity Grid, Reports Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure
As of 14:05 today, the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant has been connected to the electricity grid, reports the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure (TKN). In the coming hours, the ANPP will begin operating at full capacity.
It was previously reported that on August 30, around 21:55, the Armenian nuclear power plant was disconnected from the energy system in emergency shutdown mode. The reason for the shutdown was a lightning strike, which led the plant's safety systems to switch to a safe shutdown mode.
