America is Ready to Stand by Armenia: Power
At this moment, I announce an additional $2.4 million in funding that will help strengthen the legal framework so that technologies develop in a way that protects citizens' personal data and guarantees their rights, including human rights. This was stated by the head of the USAID, Samantha Power, during a press conference, addressing the partnership between the U.S. and Armenia in promoting technological innovations and ensuring cybersecurity.
“America is ready to stand by Armenia, America is ready to stand by the Armenians,” she concluded her remarks.
Previously, Samantha Power announced during a joint press conference with Minister of High-Tech Industry Mikayel Hayrapetyan that the U.S. will provide $5 million in funding to support cooperation between Armenia and Amazon Web Services.
