Football Agent Calls Ronaldo a Subject of Ridicule

Football agent Timur Gurtzkayan has criticized Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo following the Euro 2024 Round of 16 match against Slovenia, during an episode of his YouTube channel 'This is Football, Brother.'

“Yesterday, I felt sorry for Bruno Fernandes and Bernardo Silva,” Gurtzkayan stated, noting that the Portuguese team should leave Pep and Ronaldo on the bench for a better chance against France in the quarter-finals.

On July 1, the Portugal national team defeated Slovenia in the Round of 16. The match ended with a score of 0-0 at the end of regular time, and Ronaldo failed to convert a penalty during extra time. The penalty shootout ended with a score of 3-0, with Ronaldo successfully converting his attempt.

In the quarter-finals, Portugal will face France on July 5. The current European champion is Italy, which has already exited Euro 2024 after losing to Switzerland in the Round of 16.
