QP Boycotts Extraordinary Session of National Assembly
The extraordinary session convened by the parliamentary opposition regarding the resignation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his government did not take place. Out of 54 lawmakers, only 34 registered to participate. The ruling Civil Contract Party (QP) did not attend.
"We have gathered here based on the rule of law, while they have come here based on the power of strength. We will continue our struggle in a more organized manner," said Armenian National Assembly member Armen Rustamyan in an interview with Azatutyun.
According to the lawmaker, the opposition currently has no plans to resign their mandates.
