When All Old Elevators in Yerevan Will Be Replaced: Avinyan Sets a Timeline
All old elevators in Yerevan will be replaced by the next municipal elections. This was assured by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a discussion on the annual report on the execution of the state budget of Armenia for 2023, held at a joint session of the standing committees of the National Assembly.
The mayor noted that in 2023, 510 elevators have already been replaced. By maintaining this pace, the city budget has allocated funds for the replacement of another 500 elevators this year.
“If we keep up this pace, all old elevators in Yerevan will be replaced by the next municipal elections of the city,” Avinyan stated.
