Gunfire Exchanged Between Relatives During Altercation

On June 3 at 7 PM, the operative management center of the Police of Armenia received a report from the "Erebuni" medical center that an ambulance crew had transported a 52-year-old man with a gunshot wound from 41st Street in Nor Aresh.

An investigative group was dispatched to the hospital. It was determined that at around 6:30 PM, during an argument near one of the homes on the aforementioned street, the man's 46-year-old nephew had fired a smoothbore firearm at him, causing bodily harm.

Thanks to the explanatory work of the criminal investigators from the Erebuni department, the 46-year-old suspect presented himself to the department. He was arrested and brought to the investigative division.

During the examination of the crime scene, the smoothbore weapon was discovered and seized. A criminal case has been initiated.
