What Will Happen to the Kirantsi Church After the Demarcation?
In response to inquiries from Armenpress, the Prime Minister's Office has elaborated on the status of the Kirantsi Church following the demarcation results between Armenia and Azerbaijan. They stated, 'One of the most sensitive issues in the Voskepar-Baghanis segment was related to the Voskepar St. Mary Church, and the other was with the road from the Soviet era connecting Voskepar and Baghanis. Both issues have been resolved in the best possible way,' the Prime Minister's Office details, noting that the road is entirely within Armenian territory, as is the church, and the border line is quite far from both the road and the church. 'There was and is no sensitive situation regarding the harvesting,' they added from the office.
