Discussion on the Current Situation in Public Transport in the Capital: Haik Kostanyan

At this moment, Tigran Avinyan, the Mayor of Yerevan, is at the "Yerevan Bus" LLC depot, discussing solutions to the current situation in public transport in the capital.

This was reported by Haik Kostanyan, the press secretary of the Mayor of Yerevan, on his Facebook page. "The Mayor is currently at the 'Yerevan Bus' LLC depot discussing how to address the current situation in public transport in the capital," Kostanyan wrote.

It is worth recalling that Kostanyan had previously reported that some drivers on certain public transport routes had failed to fulfill their duties and deviated from their routes. The Yerevan Municipality viewed this initiative by drivers as an act of sabotage against the reforms being implemented in the transport sector.

On the other hand, the drivers unanimously stated that Samvel Nazaryan, the acting director appointed at 'Yerevan Bus' LLC, is unjustly dismissing long-term employees and placing his close associates in positions, which is why they do not wish to work under him, demanding the return of their former leaders.
