Musk and his son visited the Tesla factory in Germany, which has been rendered inoperative following an arson incident. The billionaire was met with a surprise, as environmental activists had gathered to see him, in addition to the company's staff.
The founder of Tesla expressed gratitude to his employees for their dedication and the swift expansion of the factory's capabilities following the "eco-terrorist attack," according to Bild. Musk also announced plans to expand the factory near Berlin.
Earlier reports indicated that the Tesla factory experienced a power outage due to a fire in a high-voltage line. Power was restored on March 11.
