By 2025, Artificial Intelligence Will Be Smarter Than Any Human, Says Musk
American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk believes that by 2025, artificial intelligence (AI) will surpass the intelligence of any individual, and by 2029, it will exceed the collective intelligence of all humans. This was reported by economictimes.com.
“Next year, AI will likely be smarter than any one person. By 2029, AI will probably be smarter than all humans combined,” Musk commented on remarks made by American inventor and futurist Raymond Kurzweil about AI reaching human-level intelligence by 2029.
Previously, Musk has stated that AI could pose a risk to humanity; however, giving significant attention to technological development can help minimize potential negative consequences.
