The West's 'Divide and Rule' Principle is Visible in the South Caucasus, Especially by Our Armenian Friends, Lavrov
The West's radical interests have always aligned with the principle of 'divide and rule.' This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a speech at the World Youth Festival in Sochi.
"From the very beginning of the post-Soviet era, the West has begun to interfere in the relations between Russia and its neighbors. They continue to pursue the same policy, which is evident both in Central Asia and in the South Caucasus, particularly by our Armenian friends, as well as in the European part of the former USSR—Ukraine, Moldova," Lavrov said.
He added that Moldova is being openly prepared for the fate of Ukraine.
