Armenian Boxers Start Strong at Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Italy

Armenian boxers have commenced their campaign with victories at the Olympic qualifying tournament taking place in Italy. In the first round of the day, 57 kg weight class boxer Arthur Bazeyan and 80 kg weight class boxer Rafael Hovhannisyan stepped into the ring.

Both of our boxers performed skillfully and secured a 5:0 victory against their opponents. Bazeyan triumphed over Swiss boxer Seifedin Letaifi, while Hovhannisyan was stronger than Canada's Keven Beasejour.

In their next match, Arthur Bazeyan will face Puerto Rico's Jose Tirado, while Rafael Hovhannisyan will compete against Belgian Noah Haji.

This evening, 54 kg weight class boxer Tatevik Khachatryan will have her first match, facing Chilean Denise Bravon.
