Paul Pogba Banned from Football for Four Years Due to Doping
French footballer Paul Pogba has received a lengthy suspension from football due to doping violations.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder for Juventus and the French national team has been banned for four years. This length of suspension was requested by the anti-doping prosecutor in December.
On August 20, 2023, the World Cup champion tested positive for testosterone. A second test confirmed the initial results, leading to the 30-year-old Frenchman being sidelined from football.
Reports have indicated that Juventus is preparing to terminate Pogba's contract amid the doping case.
