Russia Unable to Halt Incident: Grigoryan Blames Russia
The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, has blamed Russia for failing to prevent the incident that occurred near the village of Nerkhin Hand.
“You know that the recent incident towards the village of Nerkhin Hand, the EU mission has no access there, only the Russian Federation has access and is present. Russia was unable to halt the incident,” said Grigoryan.
In response to criticism from Moscow directed at the EU, he stated, “I am convinced that the reality is different. It is clear that the EU civilian mission plays a stabilizing role. We fully support their activities and will continue to do so.”
When asked why the EU mission does not have access to the area adjacent to Nerkhin Hand, Grigoryan did not respond.
It is noteworthy that during the aggression by Azerbaijan, four Armenian soldiers have been killed.
