Sale of Certain Batch of ‘Jermuk’ Mineral Water Suspended in Russia
The Russian consumer watchdog, Rospotrebnadzor, has suspended the sale of certain batches of ‘Jermuk’ mineral water in Russia for safety checks. This information was confirmed by the agency's press service in a conversation with journalists.
It was noted that earlier reports indicated a resident of Vladikavkaz suffered esophageal burns after consuming 'Jermuk' branded mineral water.
Rospotrebnadzor has announced that the suspension will apply to products imported into the Russian Federation, specifically in glass containers of 0.5 liters, between December 28, 2023, and February 12, 2024. This pertains exclusively to water produced on December 28.
