Decision to Increase Public Transport Fares in Yerevan Up to 260 Dram
A decision to increase public transport fares in Yerevan is being discussed. This was reported by Gevorg Stepanyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council from the 'Mother Armenia' faction.
“Another gift for the proud citizen: A decision to increase public transport fares has been brought forth in Yerevan. The fare hike could reach up to 260 dram. This is yet another impudent manifestation of the ‘We’ll do as we say’ attitude. Citizens are being turned into material for robbery in this manner. The attacks against us must be viewed in this context,” Stepanyan wrote on his Facebook page.
